WHO WE ARE
Our signature barre classes incorporate fun music with a fusion of low-impact, high-intensity movements, functional strength and cardio, guaranteed to deliver fast results.
Our program effectively burns fat, builds lean muscle, strengthens joints, increases flexibility, and improves balance and posture. Regular barre workouts can also improve joint health, increase bone density and prevent conditions like osteoporosis.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Yoga attire/fitted clothing (leggings or capris and a comfortable, lightweight top.) Stretchy clothing will ensure your comfort in a variety of postures. Grip socks are recommended in order to prevent sliding. You can bring your own or purchase some at our boutique.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

A water bottle, a sweat towel, grip socks (if you have them) and your workout "game face". We also have water available for purchase. We’ll provide the rest!

Feel free to leave your cell phone in a cubby or locker just outside the studio space. This area is monitored by surveillance cameras and our front desk associates. If you're expecting an important call, our front desk team will be happy to monitor your phone while you work out.

SHOULD I SHOW UP EARLY?

It’s a good idea to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, especially if you're bringing children to the Bambino Bungalow. The Bambino Bungalow doors close when a class begins.
If it's your first class, please arrive 15 minutes early so you can complete your new client paperwork, tour the studio, meet your instructor and get set up at the barre. We highly recommend pre-registering online to expedite the process and guarantee your spot.

HOW OLD OR HOW YOUNG DO I HAVE TO BE?

Our classes are designed for anyone 14 years of age and up. We offer modifications to accommodate a variety of ages and abilities. If you're 14 to 17 years old, we require a parent or guardian to come in with you to complete the initial paperwork before your workout.

You're never too old for Breaking Barre! Our low impact barre workouts build strength and encourage joint health at any age. Your instructor will provide modifications for advanced postures and encourage you to take breaks as needed.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME TO BREAKING BARRE AND WHICH CLASSES SHOULD I TAKE?

Because everyone is different, we recommend speaking with a team member about your individual fitness goals so we can create a program that meets your needs. In general, we encourage all clients to incorporate cardio, strength and stretching into their weekly workouts to ensure a well-balanced fitness regimen (unless you're supplementing Breaking Barre with another type of workout.)

We suggest taking at least 3 to 4 classes per week for optimum results.

CAN I TAKE CLASSES WHILE PREGNANT?

Yes! Breaking Barre can be a great way to safely stay in shape during your pregnancy. We recommend consulting with your doctor prior to attending a class. We have prenatal equipment in studio to ensure you enjoy a safe and effective workout.
Please arrive 15 minutes early and inform your instructor that you're pregnant (or that you recently had a baby) so she can offer pre/postnatal modifications specific to the class you're taking.
